Dear Irena,
PS For the specific case of carbon nano tubes, the cylinders are of course very long and thin, so writing a model th at performs the necessary numerical integrations reliably and accurately is non-trivial. Some other members of the sasview coding team have already had some thoughts in this direction .< o:p>

Dear Irena,
As you have notice
d, SasView does not have a multi-shell cylinder model. But since you are now
the third person in the last
6 months to have asked for such a model, maybe it is about time we provide
d one! I will ‘ticket’ the requirement…
In the meantime, t
he only fitting program I know with such a model is Olivier Tache’s pySAXS
. But it is not the most straightforward
program to use.
Kind regards,

Subject: [SasView Users] Core + 2 shells cylinder model
Hello,
I'm a PhD student in the chemical engineering dept. at
the Technion institute of technology, Israel.
I study carbon nanotubes dispersions stabilized with d
ispersants using SANS.
I am looking for a model similar to the idea of "
core_multi_shell" but for a cylinder instead of a sphere. I need
a cylinder with a core and 2 concentric shells,
each shell has its own SLD.
Are you familiar with such a model?
I've looked in the search engine and in the marketplac
e but could not find such a model.
Best,
Irena Levin
