Dear Members of the SasView Users List,
We are pleased to inform you that we have just released an update to SasView, SasView 6.1.1, available as usual through the SasView website<https://www.sasview.org/>. This is a bug fix release rectifying some issues identified in the recent 6.1.0 release this summer.
For those that prefer to build their installation from source (eg, Linux users), SasView is also available through Flatpak<https://flathub.org/apps/org.sasview.sasview>. However, it may take a few more days before 6.1.1 makes its way onto Flathub.
We would also like to remind you about the SasView Contributor Camp XIV<https://indico.ess.eu/event/3800/> to be hosted by TU Munich, Garching, Germany between November 11-17th, 2025.
In particular, in response to community demand the scope of this Camp has been expanded from its original focus on the needs of the Magnetic SAS and allied communities (ie, those SAS users producing more complex data than isotropic powder patterns) to now include Life Sciences. Please see the planning wiki at https://github.com/SasView/sasview/wiki/ContributorCampXIV for more information.
Thank you for your continued support! And, as ever, if you would like to get involved, please see https://www.sasview.org/contribute/ for further information.
